GUIDE FOR TAKING PHOTOS TO SEND FOR PET PORTAIT

I  like to meet you and your pet and take my own photographs but if you would prefer to send in  photos for me  to work from, here are some tips of how  to give me the best images to work from.

  • Take close up photo of pet in natural light (No Flash and not in direct sun)
  •  Photo should be taken at same level as pet (not looking down at them unless that is the way you want the portrait.)
  •  Close up of eyes and face & fur to give me the most detail, to ensure my portrait captures the best likeness
  • Some photos that show the pets personality or if you want the pet portrait to be in) a certain  pose, place or with their favorite toy ( try to take the images as close as possible)
  • Some pets will just not sit still and you may need some help, as in the examples       holding them by the back or neck with their head a little to the side showing both eyes gives me the best portrait option
From this . . .
and this . . .
. . . to this !
  • Photo Shoot in your home: Fee of $30
I ncludes disc of all photos taken (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast areas)

I will come to you and take photos of your pet.  It is a great way for me to meet you, to discuss the portrait and to get to know your pets personality, usually means lots of licks and fun.
